What should I expect?
Lutronic ULTRA™ Laser is a quick and easy rejuvenation treatment that can be performed during your lunch break. Your experience depends on the laser setting that is recommended to address your skin concerns. Over the course of a 20-minute treatment, you will experience a warm feeling, which might result in a flushed look overnight (that resolves itself the next day). Our patients find this laser to be quite comfortable and painless, which is why it is one of our most popular laser treatments.
Tell me about downtime.
Downtime ranges from a few hours of mild redness like a sunburn to a few days of flushed skin. Regardless, you can return to normal activity and apply makeup 24 hours after treatment.
Unlike ablative alternatives, non-ablative resurfacing doesn't remove dermal tissue, so recovery times are minimal.
How many sessions are needed for results?
Results are noticeable after just one treatment of the Lutronic ULTRA™. The number of treatments needed depends on the specific skin goals that the patient is looking to achieve. Many find that 3+ sessions per year can help preserve the treatment results.
Results will appear soon after your first treatment, with full results appearing as collagen levels increase from three to six months post-treatment. In most cases, results are long-lasting. Maintenance treatment sessions will help to prolong your rejuvenation indefinitely.
